The protagonist introduces herself as a Graphic Designer. She wants us to
»look at some stuff on screen«. While showing some work, Adobe
Illustrator crashes, and a design is lost. This leads to an outburst and
intense swearing. We are walked through the frustrating entries in the protagonist’s
»software diary« of this working week.
|
On the weekend, a »software fairytale« starts. A little Unix
daemon jumps out of the machine, introduces itself as a software, cries
tears of embarrassment over this, as it tries to be »better than that«.
It has been watching over the protagonist from inside the machine and wants
to offer her the use of its address book. This address book contains the
real names and email addresses of the people to give feedback to when something
goes very wrong (or very right?) between a software and the protagonist.

Protagonist and daemon are sending a lot of (negative and, surprisingly:
positive) feedback over the length of that one day...
